The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Woodworker to join our manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for building high-quality timber play equipment in a workshop environment. You’ll work alongside warehouse, component and products teams, playing a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and craftsmanship.

What You’ll Be Doing
Constructing and assembling timber play equipment including play towers, mud kitchens, and climbers
Operating woodworking and component machinery safely and efficiently (e.g. chop saws, table saws, band saws, drills, sanders)
Working from technical drawings and design specifications to ensure accuracy
Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet BS EN1176 safety standards
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
Managing materials efficiently to minimise waste
Identifying and resolving challenges during the build process
Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a productive workflow
Preparing, finishing and stocking components ahead of workshop builds
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is reliable, has a passion for quality, has strong practical skills and can work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Essential:
Experience working in a woodworking workshop
Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Understanding of workshop health and safety practices
High attention to detail and quality
Experience & Skills:
Hands-on experience using a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools
Ability to produce safe and high-quality timber builds
Good problem-solving skills and practical thinking
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Desirable:
Experience working on outdoor structures or play equipment
Knowledge of BS EN1176 safety standards
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
