Outdoor Learning Consultant with children

About Us

With our 13 years of practical experience and understanding of how children learn through play, we have created our independently owned brand, Phoenix Play.

Great learning spaces are about creating those "lightbulb" moments that help shape how children learn, and this is why our strapline is ‘Stories Start Here.’

At Phoenix Play we work closely with educators, to design playgrounds that are purpose driven, fun spaces that inspire a love of learning, where children can express themselves, keep fit and active, making lasting friendships and stories!

Every climbing frame, EYFS outdoor setting, and outdoor classroom, is more than just that, it’s a gateway to discovery, confidence, and a love of lifelong learning.

What the job entails?

You will work as part of our sales team as an Outdoor Learning Consultant, under the guidance of Head of Sales and Business Development.

Project opportunities are generated through online marketing, our website, and word-of-mouth referrals. The Internal Sales team will have already spoken with the enquiring school or nursery to understand their play area vision and ensure the opportunity is at the appropriate stage for a design meeting.

The next stage involves visiting the school or nursery in person to discuss the space in greater detail. During site visits, you will be required to listen carefully to the client’s requirements, understand their objectives, and creatively suggest additional ways to optimise the space to enhance learning and play opportunities.

Once costs have been calculated and a quotation provided to the school or nursery, you will be responsible for producing a detailed plan for our visualisation team to develop into a final design.
