As an Outdoor Learning Consultant, at Phoenix Play I spend the majority of my week out of the office, visiting Schools and Nurseries across the country. Every day is different from the last and I really enjoy the variety in my work. Every site has it's own unique challenges and it's exciting to come up with inventive solutions to achieve the schools desired end goal.

It's fantastic to be part of a large team where everyone is dedicated to transforming children's playgrounds. We all have so many different skill sets and personally I find it very beneficial to speak to the past educators within our team for advice when designing a new play area. 

Both of my parents worked within the playground industry since before I was born, so I grew up talking, testing and breathing playgrounds and I wouldn't have it any other way. When the opportunity arose to start working in the school playground industry 5 years ago, I jumped in and I haven't looked back since. The job is extremely rewarding and there's nothing more fulfilling than visiting one of your playgrounds after it has been installed and seeing the children's happy faces as they explore their new play area!

When I am not at work, I enjoy playing hockey and spending time outdoors with my dog and I even dabble in a bit of cold water swimming! I love cooking and trying new restaurants with friends and family.
