Donella Felton
I have been working closely with Primary Schools and Nurseries since 2002 and have seen many changes in that time; notably how the focus on Outdoor Learning and Play has grown into what we have today. I have also witnessed the rapid growth in student numbers, along with a need for inclusive play, whilst stretching funds to meet these additional factors.
I am passionate about improving mental health in children, and as it has been proven that learning and interacting outside can reduce the mental health issues that some children face, I feel proud when asked to be a small part of that journey. There’s no greater satisfaction for me than bringing the ideas of children, teachers and parents to life to create amazing outdoor play and learning spaces that inspire and encourage children to be outside … whatever the weather!
Outside of work, my life revolves around my family and supporting rescue dogs, as well as taking in the fresh air and beautiful Wiltshire countryside where I live.
Seeing and hearing the joy of children playing and investigating, once the dream becomes a reality, is just the best feeling, so let us be a part of your vision and make your dreams come true, too!
