Sunflower Montessori Nursery - EYFS Playground
Setting the Scene
Sunflower Montessori Nursery is located in the heart of Frome and follows the Montessori approach to education. They are open all year round and provide childcare for children aged 3 months to 4 years.
Customer Objectives
The Nursery is in a town house with their outside space being a roof terrace. The Nursery contacted us as they wanted to better utilise the space and create an area which was inviting and colourful for the children.
Our Solution
To brighten the area we installed Play Grass and Play Carpet surfacing to create a colourful and stimulating floor design. The surfacing also offers the benefit of being comfortable under foot, and ideal for young children who will sit, crawl or play on the ground.
We added a Storytelling Chair, Whiteboard and Chalkboard to the space to support literacy development, listening and attention skills and creative play. We also included our moveable Grass Topped Stools, which can be used for moveable seating for the children as they play and learn.
