Every child’s learning journey is a story waiting to unfold—and at Phoenix Play, we create the spaces where those stories begin. 

Since 2005, I’ve worked closely with Primary Schools and Nurseries, combining my passion for education, outdoor learning, and design to craft inspiring environments where children’s imaginations and abilities can flourish. 

For me, the key question is always: "How can we create spaces that spark curiosity, encourage movement, and support learning in a practical, cost-conscious way?" Whether it’s an outdoor classroom, a storytelling corner, or a dynamic play zone, my goal is to help schools build environments where every child can grow to love learning. 

I spend a lot of time in schools, observing the incredible ways teachers bring learning to life. I believe that education is a lifelong journey—not just for children, but for all of us. As a business leader, I’m proud to foster a culture where our team leads with creativity, empathy, and innovation—because every day is a learning day. 

At school, I was a bit of a bookworm, which is why I’m so passionate about getting all children outside. Play, movement, and outdoor exploration aren’t just for the “sporty kids”—they’re for everyone, every day, in every kind of weather! Now I'm a proud grandparent of two pre-school children, so I'm enjoying learning through play, again with them!

Outside of work, I find endless inspiration in nature—especially walking. I believe the outdoors is a place where stories unfold, memories are made, and children discover who they are.
